My goal is to help clients become as healthy as possible. I embrace a holistic approach to wellness that includes a client’s occupation, emotional awareness, lifestyle, coping skills, spirituality, creativity, physical health, self-worth, problem-solving, relationships, and other essential elements to a balanced, healthy life.  Emotions and how we feel and think are physically and biologically based and can arise from previous experiences, trauma, or memories of the unconscious, so to me a wellness and psychodynamic perspective makes sense.  

During your initial session, I will look at whole-person strategies through the lenses of  psychotherapy and medicine.  The initial session consists of an intensive review of your past  history, current issues and your desired  goals. This focused visit enables me to give recommendations and assist you in choosing your the best plan of care, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, neurofeedback, biofeedback, or integrative approaches when applicable, with the goal of optimizing your vitality.
